I am a freelance director cameraman with over 20 years experience in the television and broadcast industry. Having grown up in South Africa, I developed a passion for the outdoors. After completing my degree in film and television in the UK, I had an opportunity to work on a National Geographic wildlife production in the Namib desert. It was the start of many exciting filming adventures.

Working with the likes of The BBC, Discovery and Animal Planet, I am fortunate to experience extraordinary and diverse locations. I have filmed all over the world in some very challenging environments; from extreme cold, high altitudes, deserts and jungles to a council flat in Bristol. I pride myself on my ability to work as a team where my drive and sense of humour complement my motivation. I am also comfortable working solo when required and constantly expanding my directing and editing skills. This has led to me making my own education and promotional films; working with schools, theatres, corporates and entrepreneurs. My wife, Kerry, and I have developed an award winning early years series with Sally and Phill Featherstone. Any remaining down time is spent with my family or on a racing bike.
